The Information Memorandum includes information about the Deal Owner that the Business Readiness Consultant or Sales Support team may disclose.
This section explains the rules for giving out information about a listed business.
The company is bound by the Privacy Act and has a privacy policy. If the company discloses information about a Lead without permission, the Lead can take legal action. It is very important to have privacy rules.
Business Readiness Consultant Procedure
- Confidentiality agreements are automatically uploaded into the CRM as a “lead”.
- Leads are to be verified and contacted within 1 day, in accordance with the listing procedure.
- Leads for businesses over $1m will require manual access to the data room, ensure the correct email is entered into the data room invite and the user is given “previewer” access only.
- Email the lead immediately using the template specific to that business.
- Follow up call should be made within 24 hours of access being granted
